This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop the vision, strategy, and success metrics for the Customer Support and Integrity Security function.
• Direct the technical direction and execution of the roadmap for Customer Support and Integrity Security.
• Collaborate closely with teams including Customer Support and Integrity, Merchant Experience, Enterprise Security, Engineering, Product, GRC, and others.
• Design and implement security controls effectively.
• Set clear, quantifiable metrics to showcase and monitor the performance of the Customer Support and Integrity security initiatives.
• Conduct security assessments and validation of support teams, processes, and systems to pinpoint security vulnerabilities and develop remediation strategies.
• Foster alignment across various organizations and create sustainable operating mechanisms.
• Over 8 years of experience as a security engineer in the fields of enterprise security, corporate security, or infrastructure security.
• Demonstrated success in designing and deploying security solutions at scale for support and sales teams, including both internal and third-party users.
• Experience collaborating directly with third-party support organizations.
• Ability to articulate security engineering, system architecture, scalability, and reliability decisions with confidence.
• A customer-centric and ownership-oriented approach.
• A broad range of technical expertise across various infrastructure and security domains operating in large production settings.
• Skilled in analyzing code, architecture, and designs through a security lens.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and other programming languages (e.g., Java), with Golang experience considered a plus.
• Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with IAM platforms such as Okta and Google Workspace.
• Hands-on familiarity with Google Workspace products, particularly Google Chrome Enterprise Premium.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure and management, specifically within GCP and AWS.
• Experience addressing complex, systemic issues at scale that necessitate innovative thinking and solutions.
• Outstanding analytical and investigative skills with hands-on experience in leading root cause analysis efforts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of understanding and reviewing design documents related to cloud infrastructure alongside engineering teams.
• Familiarity with access management, abuse prevention, operational controls, incident management, or platform risk programs.
• Experience in developing scalable governance frameworks, escalation models, or operational control systems.
• Proficient in utilizing AI, automation, or workflow tools to enhance operational scale and resilience.
