This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the complete Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Revenue Cloud, including the migration from CPQ to Revenue Cloud.
• Facilitate architecture and design sessions, producing design documents, solution alternatives, and tradeoff analyses.
• Create and uphold coding and design standards.
• Perform code reviews while ensuring compliance with engineering, security, and declarative-first design practices.
• Develop and manage the technical backlog.
• Recognize gaps in system design, data integrity, automation, integration, security, and processes, and provide effective solutions.
• Conduct Organizational Health Assessments and outline continuous improvement roadmaps.
• Manage Salesforce release management, sandbox strategies, source control, CI/CD tools, and ensure auditable deployments.
• Design, construct, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, APIs, and platform events.
• Lead the implementation of Agentforce and AI-driven automation.
• Design and develop integrations with Ironclad, Snowflake, and GTM/RevOps systems.
• Define testing strategies and carry out release testing.
• Maintain sprint velocity, code quality, and documentation standards.
• Address Salesforce security findings and enhance the security posture of the Salesforce organization.
• Utilize Salesforce Shield Event Monitoring for threat detection, alerts, and auditing purposes.
• Design data classification schemes, access controls, and ensure auditability.
• Assess and implement platform monitoring and SSPM tools.
• Ensure backup and recovery solutions are in place.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on scoping, estimating, and prioritizing tasks.
• Transform business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Articulate technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead stakeholder demonstrations and engage in Agile ceremonies.
• Over 10 years of Salesforce technical experience covering development, configuration, and architecture.
• A minimum of 2 years in an Architect role, responsible for architecture decisions and outcomes.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Experience with Revenue Cloud or significant CPQ experience demonstrating a path to Revenue Cloud migration.
• Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, REST/SOAP APIs, and platform events.
• Proven experience leading or significantly contributing to Salesforce security hardening initiatives.
• Experience in conducting code reviews and upholding engineering best practices within a platform team.
• Capability to build and oversee a technical backlog.
• Experience in identifying system and process deficiencies and independently driving solutions to completion.
• Background in architecting and building integrations with external systems such as CLM, ERP, or data platforms.
• Familiarity with Agentforce, Einstein AI, or other Salesforce AI and automation functionalities.
• Exceptional communication skills with engineers and senior business stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize and manage work independently with minimal oversight.
• Salesforce CTA or Application/System Architect credentials are preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with SSPM/security monitoring or Salesforce Shield is a plus.
• Salesforce Revenue Cloud or CPQ Specialist certification is advantageous.
• Experience with Ironclad/CLM is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Tableau, Snowflake, Looker, or similar data platforms is advantageous.
