Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Engage directly with clients to assess business challenges and create scalable Salesforce solutions.

• Design, customize, test, and sustain Salesforce applications utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce APIs, Salesforce Flow, platform events, asynchronous Apex, alongside both declarative and programmatic features.

• Architect solutions across various Salesforce products and clouds tailored to client specifications and project demands.

• Establish and uphold Salesforce integrations with enterprise applications leveraging REST and SOAP APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and other integration methodologies.

• Implement software engineering best practices, including object-oriented design, source control, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD.

• Create software and integration components utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, Python, or other contemporary programming languages and frameworks.

• Connect Salesforce with cloud infrastructures and services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Develop extensive automated tests and ensure adequate Salesforce code coverage, guaranteeing that solutions are dependable, maintainable, and secure.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, administrators, product teams, and client stakeholders to convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Acquire experience across diverse clients and industries, adjusting to various Salesforce implementations, technical environments, and business contexts.

• Foster trust with clients and internal teams through effective communication, problem-solving, and execution.

• The hiring process may involve a preliminary phone interview, video interviews, and a take-home assignment due within one week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in developing Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, and declarative platform capabilities.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language beyond the Salesforce ecosystem, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, or Python.

• Strong grasp of software engineering principles and design patterns.

• Practical experience with Salesforce and at least one leading public cloud platform, like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience in designing and implementing Salesforce integrations with external applications through APIs, middleware, event-driven patterns, or other enterprise integration strategies.

• Familiarity with source control, automated testing, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, and contemporary Salesforce development and deployment methods.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to work efficiently with both technical and non-technical client stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze intricate business and technical challenges and devise practical, scalable solutions.

• Salesforce-specific certifications are highly desirable, such as Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, or relevant Salesforce Architect certifications.
