Staff Product Manager, Telematics Platform

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Telematics data platform, balancing reliable enterprise-grade performance with innovative features.

• Collaborate closely with R&D leaders to address fundamental platform challenges and ensure enterprise-grade reliability for essential data services.

• Spearhead the definition and launch of customer-facing Telematics APIs, webhooks, and data integrations tailored for the Enterprise segment.

• Facilitate platform preparedness for strategic initiatives, including global expansion efforts.

• Work in partnership with AI teams to integrate telematics data as a foundational element of Motive's AI differentiation, encompassing new analytics and automated workflows.

• Provide mentorship and coaching to fellow Product Managers on the team to enhance the product function within this vital area.

• Lead the initiative to productize telematics data by developing API-first products and comprehensive integrations for major Enterprise clients.

• Act as the cornerstone of product leadership, tackling intricate engineering challenges and fostering alignment throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of product management experience, showcasing a proven history in a leadership capacity.

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

• Demonstrate experience in developing and scaling complex data platforms, API-first products, IoT systems, or large-scale distributed systems.

• Understand how to manage a platform as a product while balancing the needs of various internal stakeholders with external customer demands.

• Exhibit the ability to foster alignment, influence roadmaps, and cultivate consensus across diverse product, engineering, and go-to-market teams without direct authority.

• Capable of diving deep into data to assess platform health while also engaging with enterprise customers to grasp their integration requirements.

• Flourish in a dynamic environment and be adept at navigating ambiguity and complexity.
