AI Product Owner – Delivery Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the complete AI use-case identification and implementation journey – from conceptualization and prioritization to deployment and adoption.

• Serving as the product owner and delivery lead for AI conversational agents and other automation projects, ensuring they achieve clear operational and financial results.

• Collaborating with consulting teams, functional leaders, and technical groups to map workflows, identify transformation opportunities, and integrate AI solutions.

• Monitoring emerging technologies and releases (e.g., Microsoft, OpenAI) to evaluate their relevance and convert them into actionable opportunities for the organization.

• Developing and sustaining a framework for AI-driven efficiency, ensuring that results are both measurable and sustainable.

• Facilitating capability building and change management, training colleagues and advocates to embrace new tools.

• Contributing to thought leadership in AI, innovation, and responsible technology deployment within high-risk industries.

⛳️ Requirements

• A robust understanding of AI and data technologies (machine learning, NLP, computer vision, generative and agentic AI).

• Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional AI or digital transformation programs, preferably in consulting or asset-heavy industries (energy, mining, chemicals, manufacturing).

• Proficiency in mapping business processes and recognizing opportunities for automation or augmentation.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), APIs, integration tools, and ethical AI principles.

• Significant experience with agile delivery and vendor/partner management.

• Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills, capable of engaging both executives and technical experts.

• A proven history of delivering tangible results, beyond just pilots or proofs of concept.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or Operations Management (or equivalent).

• 5–10 years of experience in AI project delivery, digital transformation, or technology-enabled consulting.

• Certifications in AI/ML, Agile, or Change Management are advantageous.

• Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
