• Take ownership of Benepass’ fintech stack strategy, making decisions on whether to build or partner across various time frames.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with essential partners.
• Ensure that current integrations are reliable, scalable, and fully leveraged.
• Identify deficiencies in existing capabilities and drive solutions in collaboration with partners or internal teams.
• Align partner capabilities with our product roadmap and influence decisions related to the roadmap.
• Assess and onboard new partners to broaden our product offerings.
• Serve as the primary liaison for fintech partners, engaging with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
• Lead resolution of issues, manage escalations, and oversee ongoing optimization efforts with partners.
• Represent Benepass in discussions with partners and at industry events.
• A minimum of 6 years of product management experience, particularly in developing fintech products (e.g., card issuance, bank accounts, AR/AP, payments).
• Comprehensive understanding of the financial ecosystem, including card issuance, processors, payment rails, and banking cores.
• Experience working directly with Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) partners (e.g., Stripe, Unit, Marqeta, Lithic, Treasury Prime, Column, Increase, etc.).
• A proven history of managing both partnership relationships and technical implementations.
• Strong product judgment with the ability to navigate complex trade-offs.
• Exceptional communication skills and comfort in engaging with external partners and executives.
• Desirable: Experience with brokerage or trading infrastructure.
• Project management experience related to BaaS partner migrations.
• Established relationships and experience with sponsor banks.
• Extensive knowledge of compliance requirements, including considerations for build vs. buy.
