Staff Product Manager, Data Engine – Exposure Data

📋 Description

• Spearhead the development of a long-term data vision, ensuring that Bitsight’s data collection capabilities evolve in anticipation of the shifting threat landscape, particularly by designing our data repositories into "agent-ready" intelligence layers.

• Oversee intricate, multi-team projects from concept to execution. You will align engineering, data science (including AI/ML model deployment and assessment), and security research workflows to facilitate high-velocity execution, eliminating organizational bottlenecks and ensuring efficient product delivery without sacrificing quality.

• Serve as the primary liaison between technical engineering decisions and the business outcomes demanded by security leaders, guaranteeing that every data point addresses a specific practitioner need.

• Manage the simultaneous delivery of multiple high-throughput features, from initial definition to implementing robust pipelines for cyber exposure telemetry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant prior experience as a security practitioner (e.g., Security Researcher, SOC Analyst, or Security Engineer) with a profound understanding of how telemetry is utilized to pinpoint risk.

• A proven track record of success with over 5 years in product management, specifically within the cybersecurity sector, overseeing complex, data-intensive products.

• Demonstrated capability to outline and stage work into clearly defined milestones, consistently delivering intricate software projects on schedule and at scale.

• Established ability to forge strong relationships across Engineering, Data Science, Security Research, and Sales, proactively addressing organizational challenges beyond your immediate responsibilities.

• Experience in mentoring fellow Product Managers on strategy, leadership, and resolving high-level conflicts within technical teams.

• Proven understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic frameworks, and the transition from "Data for Humans" to "Data for Agents."
