This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and lead the product strategy for GitLab's AI agent orchestration platform, emphasizing core platform features that facilitate agentic workflows.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design teams to uncover product opportunities, prioritize platform investments, and steer execution from initial concept to final delivery.

• Convert complex technical domains such as agent context, agent memory, and background agent behavior into straightforward product requirements and roadmap choices.

• Coordinate across various teams to align platform objectives with wider GitLab AI initiatives, ensuring that orchestration functionalities can cater to diverse use cases.

• Apply product management best practices to drive discovery, refine problem statements, and foster a shared understanding among stakeholders.

• Clearly articulate product vision, priorities, and decisions to cross-functional partners, helping teams concentrate on the most impactful work.

• Act as a senior product leader by imposing structure on uncertainty and influencing how GitLab develops AI-native platform capabilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in product management, including responsibility for intricate technical products or platforms from initial definition through to iteration and delivery.

• Prior experience in agentic AI product management, with a thorough understanding of concepts such as AI orchestration, agent memory, agent context, and related platform principles.

• Strong product judgment and an aptitude for thriving in ambiguous, rapidly-changing environments where requirements and patterns are still forming.

• Experience working with technical teams to develop platform products and translate complex system behaviors into clear priorities and requirements.

• Capacity to strategically think about platform design while remaining attentive to execution details that impact product quality and usability.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical AI concepts clearly to a diverse range of stakeholders.

• A methodical approach to product discovery, prioritization, and decision-making, rooted in solid product management principles.

• Proven ability to learn swiftly, adapt product decisions as AI capabilities progress, and remain informed about developments in the AI landscape.
