Staff Product Designer – Design Systems, Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and oversee master Figma libraries and templates to establish a single source of truth for all teams.

• Assist tool teams in proactively understanding which components to utilize, when, and why during the design discovery phase by organizing design critiques and synchronization meetings.

• Perform regular audits across channels (e.g., Web vs. Mobile) to pinpoint inconsistencies and advocate for standardization.

• Identify common issues when various teams require patterns that are absent from the core design system; collaborate with Communities of Practice and Accessibility teams.

• Create and maintain clear documentation, process templates, and onboarding resources to enhance the efficiency of UX practitioners.

• Serve as the Figma and AI expert for the teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and over 7 years of experience.

• Proficiency with design software such as Figma, Miro, Adobe, or other design tools.

• Familiarity with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
