This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete mobile product design process from start to finish.
• Take ownership of the entire design journey for designated product areas—spanning discovery, research, prototyping, validation, implementation, and launch—with a primary emphasis on native iOS and Android experiences.
• Design solutions tailored to real-world clinical workflows.
• Develop intuitive information architecture and interaction patterns that aid healthcare professionals who operate under time constraints, make critical decisions, and function in fast-paced environments where usability is essential.
• Propel product strategy through effective design.
• Discover opportunities where deliberate user experience design enhances product adoption, engagement, and long-term customer value, while collaborating with Product and Engineering to define requirements and align user needs with technical considerations.
• Enhance the design system and contemporary design methodologies.
• Play a key role in the development of mobile design system components and patterns to maintain consistency across platforms.
• Lead user research and validation efforts.
• Organize and conduct qualitative and quantitative research, which includes contextual inquiries, workflow observations, usability testing, and field research with healthcare providers.
• Transform research findings into actionable insights that guide product direction.
• Collaborate with various teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Work alongside Compliance and Security to ensure solutions adhere to regulatory standards without compromising usability.
• Facilitate design reviews, articulate design rationale clearly, and maintain involvement throughout the implementation phase by evaluating builds, addressing edge cases, and advocating for design excellence.
• Mentor and uplift the design team. Share expertise in mobile UX with colleagues, guide junior designers, and promote robust design practices throughout the broader Product organization.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• 5–7+ years of experience in UX design, specifically in crafting native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
• A portfolio that showcases end-to-end mobile UX work on intricate, task-driven products, especially those that focus on workflow optimization, information hierarchy, or high-stakes decision-making.
• Experience in contributing to design systems and collaborating closely with engineering teams.
• Advanced skills in Figma, including components, variants, and prototyping capabilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% for team meetings, client appointments, and company off-sites.
