• Establishing the long-term design vision and overseeing large, comprehensive design projects in complex problem areas across various product domains.

• Navigating trade-offs and steering strategic decisions with a clear perspective.

• Continuously elevating the standards for design quality and product excellence at Monzo, ensuring your contributions set a benchmark for innovation and quality throughout the organization and the industry.

• Collaborating with cross-functional leaders to define and implement product strategies that translate into actionable plans that you assist in building and launching.

• Proactively tackling systemic challenges, minimizing complexity, and creating improved conditions for teams to produce impactful results.

• Serving as a prominent ambassador for Design, showcasing your work and its influence across the organization to uphold Design's integral role at Monzo.

• Mentoring and developing designers across the discipline, nurturing a culture of growth, collaboration, and inclusivity.

• You possess expertise in your craft, with deep knowledge in a specific design discipline and strong foundational skills across all areas of product design.

• You have a demonstrated history of producing high-impact design work that drives customer outcomes, influences company metrics, and meets commercial objectives.

• You will have exceptional visual, UI, and interaction skills, along with the capacity to navigate complex interaction design.

• You are eager to continue developing your craft and staying updated on new tools, methodologies, and technologies.

• You excel in ambiguous situations, guiding teams to achieve results in complex, rapidly changing environments while upholding a high standard for quality.

• You are a strategic thinker capable of shaping product direction across various domains and translating organizational goals into clear, actionable plans.
