Staff Product Designer

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire design process for vital product areas, from initial discovery and definition to delivery and ongoing iteration.

• Set high standards for design excellence – lead critiques, inspire the team to excel, and champion quality throughout every phase.

• Manage our design system in a streamlined environment – assist in maintaining the component library, ensure consistency, and evolve design patterns as we grow.

• Integrate AI-focused thinking into every aspect of our products – pinpoint AI opportunities, design for AI-native interactions, and encourage the team to explore innovative possibilities.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering on strategies, trade-offs, and roadmap planning – keeping user experience at the forefront.

• Assist in transforming our product from its existing foundation to a truly AI-driven experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of product design experience, with a portfolio showcasing strong Design Craft and conviction.

• Familiarity with B2B SaaS and complex, data-oriented product interfaces.

• Capability to manage a design system without dedicated support from a system manager.

• Genuine passion for AI and a demonstrated interest in designing for AI-native experiences.

• Excellent communication and critique abilities; you can justify your design choices and provide constructive feedback to enhance work quality.

• Confidence in making design decisions in uncertain situations with incomplete information.

• Proven experience collaborating closely with Engineering and Product in a dynamic environment.
