Staff Product Data Analyst

📋 Description

• Identify and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that the product team will concentrate on to measure product success and its impact. Ensure these KPIs are aligned with overarching business objectives and provide a transparent framework for evaluating product performance.

• Guide and empower product teams by utilizing advanced methodologies and analytical tools to cultivate a data-driven culture. Offer training and support to enable teams to independently utilize data insights in their decision-making processes.

• Help define the experimentation strategy of our dynamic team by designing A/B tests and testing guidelines, aligning success metrics across cross-functional teams, validating the technical setup, tracking experiment performance, and advising stakeholders on expected timelines for insights and results interpretation.

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of product performance metrics and user behavior to uncover trends, issues, and opportunities for enhancement. Use these insights to drive strategic decisions that improve product functionality, user experience, and market competitiveness.

• Collaborate with the Product researcher of your line to create and maintain an overview of performance insights discovered throughout the customer journey, identify remaining customer knowledge gaps, and apply critical thinking to proactively influence discussions regarding the product roadmap.

• You will work directly with the Director of Product for the line you are covering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.

• Experience with data analysis, data modeling, and visualization tools (such as SQL, DBT, Excel, Tableau, or other similar software). Expertise in creating advanced data visualizations that effectively convey complex insights to a wide audience, including dashboards and interactive reports.

• Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions. Approach problems methodically and think critically. Detail-oriented in data analysis, ensuring accuracy, and capable of thoroughly validating findings while maintaining high standards in data integrity and reporting.

• Skill in clearly and effectively communicating complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presentations.

• Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers. Capability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

• Understanding of business strategy and how data-driven insights can support and enhance product and business goals. Ability to align data analysis with business objectives.

• Prior experience as a data analyst and a degree in business or engineering is required.
