This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Perform diverse data analyses related to the performance of laboratory personnel systems, STEM outreach initiatives, technology transfer, infrastructure, and federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs).
• Address client inquiries or proactively assess data requirements.
• Identify the most appropriate data systems for gathering necessary information.
• Process gathered data using big data technologies, Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, DataBricks, or Tableau to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Implement quality assurance protocols, including cleaning, labeling, and organizing data appropriately.
• Create visual data representations to communicate significant insights according to initial specifications.
• Leverage existing data and databases to meet requests, thereby decreasing dependence on field inquiries.
• Provide recommendations for improving data collection techniques, reducing repetitive questions, and enhancing accuracy.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least five (5) years of recent and relevant experience in Data Engineering, Statistics, or Data Analytics Program Management.
• Familiarity with DoD data systems.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience within the DoD RDTE enterprise (preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R (preferred).
• Knowledge or experience with Qlik, Databricks, Tableau, or other analytical platforms (preferred).
• Experience with DoD financial and contracting systems (preferred).
• Understanding of the PPBE system and its processes (preferred).
• Familiarity with DoD FFRDC program management (preferred).
