This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and take ownership of the complete PLM landscape, which encompasses Windchill configuration, data models, workflows, and integrations with ERP, CAD, and MES systems.

• Establish PLM standards, templates, and best practices; implement change management processes for BOM structures, engineering change orders (ECOs), and document control.

• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to gather business requirements and convert them into scalable PLM architecture and process designs.

• Facilitate system integrations between Windchill/Creo and downstream enterprise applications (SAP, Oracle, or comparable ERP/MES), aiding engineers in designing our APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.

• Oversee upgrades, migrations, and the rollout of new modules — managing everything from scoping and architecture to user acceptance testing and go-live support.

• Guide junior PLM analysts and administrators; offer technical direction and assess architectural decisions made by the team.

• Set KPIs for PLM health, adoption, and data quality; generate executive-level reports on platform performance and roadmap advancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in architecting and implementing PLM integrations with ERP systems.

• Solid grasp of manufacturing processes, including NPI, production readiness, and supply chain workflows.

• Exceptional communication skills — capable of presenting intricate architectural trade-offs to both technical and executive audiences.

• PTC Windchill certification or equivalent formal PLM platform credentials is an advantage.
