This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Designing, implementing, and sustaining scalable distributed systems and infrastructure.
• Developing and overseeing the infrastructure and core services that support Honor’s Care Platform.
• Providing essential building blocks that empower the entire engineering team to deliver reliably and efficiently.
• Managing build and deployment pipelines for our services, along with the maintenance of various environments and their supporting infrastructure.
• Acting as consultants to establish the appropriate abstractions for recurring problem patterns.
• Making a significant contribution to the future development of Honor’s Care Platform.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in a platform engineering team within a product-driven organization.
• Design and implement foundational patterns and libraries for Python applications, covering a variety of technologies from API services to event processing.
• Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to ensure reproducible and scalable environment configurations.
• Design and implement infrastructure for applications hosted on AWS, accommodating event-driven systems, containerized services on Kubernetes, and serverless functions.
• Create and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD.
• Experience in automating the lifecycle management of code from development to production, including code promotion and configuration management.
• Instrument observability through tools like CloudWatch and DataDog to monitor and enhance application performance across multiple environments.
• Scale infrastructure to accommodate growing demand while managing costs effectively.
• Experience in defining, instrumenting, and measuring standards for quality, security, scalability, and availability with a focus on delivering business value.
