Staff Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical lead and full-time steward of bfARENAS.

• Enhance core algorithms by refining ranking quality.

• Develop an agent layer utilizing LLM-powered components.

• Create human-in-the-loop interfaces tailored for domain experts.

• Manage platform infrastructure, including orchestration of multi-provider LLMs.

• Produce client-facing deliverables such as interactive visualizations and reports.

• Uphold quality standards through integrated checks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in production software engineering.

• At least 2 years of experience in developing LLM-powered systems.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Possess real statistical literacy.

• Familiarity with ranking and pairwise comparison models.

• Proven ability to design evaluation frameworks for LLM systems.

• Strong product instincts.

• Ability to take ownership of a system from start to finish.
