Staff ML Risk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish the machine learning data and feature strategy for detecting fraudulent activities.

• Manage the complete feature engineering pipeline by identifying, constructing, validating, and promoting features that lead to measurable enhancements.

• Identify discrepancies between the current tooling infrastructure and the required solutions.

• Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers to convert analytical insights into ML systems ready for production.

• Determine the technical direction for the ML Analytics function.

• Work cross-functionally with Product Managers and Risk analysts to highlight fraud indicators.

• Act as the team's resource for institutional knowledge regarding advancements in the ML industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of practical experience in machine learning analytics, data science, or a similar technical domain, with substantial experience addressing risk, fraud, or payment challenges.

• Extensive, practitioner-level knowledge of Spark, Python, and big data machine learning, which constitutes the core technology stack.

• Demonstrated experience in feature engineering for machine learning models, encompassing signal identification, pipeline construction, and validating feature quality at scale.

• Comprehensive understanding of the evolution of the machine learning industry over the past decade, including modern feature stores.
