This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop and sustain scalable machine learning solutions for production environments.
• Train and assess both deep learning and statistical models, taking into account the use-case, complexity, performance, and robustness.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of applications and cultivate a deep insight into the “why” behind our models and systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, and stakeholders to evaluate business challenges, clarify requirements, and outline the system scope needed.
• Work in close partnership with data platform teams to establish reliable and scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Team up with software engineers to create tools that boost productivity and facilitate the deployment and maintenance of ML models.
• Promote high engineering standards within the team through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Adhere to engineering best practices concerning code reviews, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Over 7 years of practical experience in machine learning with a strong command of Python.
• Solid foundation in the principles of Machine Learning and the essential components of modern Deep Learning.
• Proven history of building, deploying, and maintaining Machine Learning models in production within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Experience in designing and architecting large-scale experiments and analyses to guide the product roadmap.
• Strong understanding of frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras, along with insights into their functionalities.
• Knowledge of ML Ops concepts related to testing and maintaining models in production, including testing, retraining, and monitoring processes.
• Demonstrated capability to quickly adapt, comprehend, and operate effectively within new application or business domains.
• Familiarity with modern data storage, messaging, and processing tools (e.g., Kafka, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Presto, DynamoDB, etc.), along with experience in designing and programming big-data components like DynamoDB or similar.
• Experience working in an agile team environment with shifting priorities.
