This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design, develop, train, and implement machine learning models for the detection of sensitive data and malicious threats, such as phishing emails.
• Produce production-quality code to transform your ML models into functioning pipelines and engage in code reviews to maintain code quality and promote knowledge sharing.
• Create scalable, reliable, and maintainable machine learning pipelines that integrate smoothly with existing backend systems.
• Investigate recent developments in generative AI and LLMs to potentially enhance our detection capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers, product managers, designers, data scientists, and software engineers to align machine learning projects with business objectives.
• Remain at the forefront of technology by exploring new algorithms, technologies, and frameworks to improve our detection models.
• Foster a strong engineering culture through active involvement and mentorship.
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or related fields, or a Ph.D. with at least 6 years of experience in a senior or staff engineering position.
• Profound knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques and LLMs.
• Significant experience in creating efficient and effective data pipelines.
• Practical expertise in developing efficient end-to-end ML workflows, with a strong commitment to managing the entire model development process from conception to deployment and maintenance.
