Staff Machine Learning Engineer – AI Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance our infrastructure to improve ML and AI capabilities, emphasizing LLM-based and agentic systems.

• Assist in the development and growth of our agentic AI framework utilizing AWS Bedrock, facilitating both internal tools and customer-facing features.

• Discover, source, and refine datasets to enable model tuning, support retrieval pipelines, or broaden agentic workflows.

• Pre-process data using methods such as data cleaning, feature engineering, and transformation.

• Train, assess, and deploy both LLM-based systems and conventional machine learning models into production.

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and continuously enhance deployed models and AI tools.

• Advocate for machine learning applications across the organization, including choosing the appropriate modeling strategy for each use case (LLM vs. traditional ML).

• Assist in the integration and utilization of LLMs, employing techniques such as fine-tuning, prompt tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to enhance accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.

• Experience with LLMs (e.g., prompt engineering, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation).

• Familiarity with Agents for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore or comparable agent frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques, and data preprocessing methods.

• Experience with cloud platforms for model training and deployment, particularly AWS.

• Proficient in Python, with experience in libraries such as LangChain, Scikit-Learn, NumPy, Pandas, and PyTorch/TensorFlow.

• Proficient in SQL and experienced with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, GCP).

• Understanding of MLOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, and versioning (e.g., MLflow, Airflow).

• Experience in deploying models to production and providing post-deployment support.

• Fluency in English.
