Staff Java Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• You will leverage your expertise in Kotlin or Java (if you are eager to work with Kotlin) to design and develop robust and scalable backend solutions. Your contributions will span the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to design, coding, testing, and deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• **Your Expertise Includes: **

• - A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on Java backend development.

• - Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

• - Experience with Terraform.

• - Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD, Shift-Left).

• - Proficient in Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

• - Knowledge of Kafka.

• - Experience with Kubernetes.

• - Familiarity with GraphQL Federation.

• - Knowledge of Azure Cloud.

• - Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Nice to have:

• - Experience with Spring Boot and other pertinent backend frameworks.

• - Experience in an Agile development environment.
