Staff Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Design and execute the "Golden Paths" for microservices and infrastructure.

• Create CLI tools, portals, or API interfaces for self-service resources.

• Develop and manage a library of modular, testable, and versioned Terraform modules.

• Architect effective GitHub Actions workflows and GitOps pipelines.

• Apply "Compliance by Design" principles using tools such as Open Policy Agent (OPA).

• Ensure that every service deployed through the Golden Path incorporates standard logging, metrics, and dashboards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.

• Proficient in a high-level programming language (e.g., Go, Python).

• Deep, hands-on expertise in AWS and Kubernetes.

• Expert-level understanding of Terraform.

• Comprehend the balance between standardization and developer autonomy.

• Experience in regulated environments (FinTech preferred).

• Exceptional communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
