Staff Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish the front-end architecture and technical roadmap, crafting scalable platforms and overseeing the development of intricate UI systems (e.g., React, Angular, Next.js).

• Create polished, presentation-ready front-end experiences that convey the value of AI systems to clients and stakeholders.

• Set front-end standards and best practices, and contribute to shared design systems.

• Direct back-end development and API architecture using Python and Node.js, integrating complex systems and third-party platforms.

• Design and implement channel integrations across chat, voice, and web interfaces, including real-time messaging, webhook pipelines, and event-driven patterns.

• Formulate efficient database schemas and enhance performance across both relational and NoSQL systems.

• Propel backend performance, scalability, and reliability, while ensuring the implementation of security best practices, including authentication and authorization.

• Oversee monitoring, observability, and reliability practices across production systems.

• Spearhead the design and integration of AI services into comprehensive full-stack systems, including LLM APIs, streaming, tool and function calling, multi-step agent flows, and RAG patterns.

• Adopt an AI-forward approach in daily tasks, utilizing tools like Claude, Cursor, and other contemporary AI assistants to deliver high-quality work efficiently.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of leading complex full-stack initiatives.

• In-depth expertise in React or Angular with strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript (e.g., React, Angular, Next.js).

• Significant experience with state management.

• Strong proficiency in modern CSS frameworks and build tools.

• Extensive back-end development and API architecture experience in Python and Node.js.

• Practical experience in building channel integrations across chat (e.g., Slack, Teams, SMS), voice (e.g., Twilio, PSTN), and web interfaces.

• Solid testing practices across unit, integration, and UI testing.

• Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, caching, and query optimization.

• Strong experience in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and message queues.

• Proficient in cloud platforms and container orchestration.

• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven experience in integrating AI services into production full-stack systems, including LLM APIs, streaming, tool and function calling, multi-step agent flows, and RAG patterns.

• Ability to create fast, high-fidelity front-end demos and prototypes that effectively communicate technical capabilities to non-technical audiences.

• Comfortable collaborating closely with design tools and partners to deliver polished, accessible UI (e.g., Figma).

• Demonstrated leadership and technical mentoring capabilities within a team or organization.

• Strong communication skills with stakeholders, capable of translating technical details for diverse audiences.

• Proven daily use and expert knowledge of AI-forward tools such as Claude and Cursor.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to navigate complex technical and business challenges with sound judgment.
