Staff Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement and verify AQNav on active platforms.

• Ensure successful execution during critical testing events and demonstrations.

• Act as the main technical collaborator in business development initiatives, presentations, and conferences.

• Oversee the technical aspects of strategic opportunities and manage impactful customer pilots and presentations.

• Design and sustain Python-based pipelines for the ingestion, cleansing, and analysis of diverse sensor and navigation logs.

• Transform logs, bias drifts, error growth, and RMSE metrics into clear narratives for stakeholders.

• Convert field observations into well-defined, testable requirements.

• Facilitate the integration of AQNav with mission computers, flight controllers, and onboard sensors.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth understanding of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) principles along with contemporary Alt-PNT methodologies.

• Over 3 years of experience in aerospace, defense, or autonomous systems, with direct involvement in integrating and developing hybrid (software and hardware) products and solutions for the Department of Defense.

• Strong expertise in Python for data analysis, signal processing, and visualization tasks.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with experience in presenting to engineers, program managers, and senior leaders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
