Staff Engineer, Industrial Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and configure automation and SCADA solutions based on WinCC OA

• Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, field devices, and industrial networks

• Conduct system testing, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and validation activities

• Diagnose issues related to automation, PLC, SCADA, and communication

• Create technical documentation that includes design, testing, and implementation materials

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes

• Adhere to engineering standards and OT cybersecurity protocols

• Assist in the deployment, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of automation systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5.5 years of total experience

• In-depth knowledge of Siemens WinCC OA, SCADA, and Industrial Automation systems

• Practical experience in PLC Programming and System Integration, ideally with Siemens TIA Portal

• Familiarity with Industrial Communication Protocols (OPC, Modbus, Profinet)

• Proficient in WinCC OA scripting, Python, or comparable programming languages

• Knowledge of Industrial Networking, OT environments, and cybersecurity measures

• Experience in FAT, SAT, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting

• Preferred experience in the Water & Wastewater, Chemicals, or Food & Beverage sectors
