Staff Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the design and implementation of core systems within Levellr’s AI and data platform.

• Creating and enhancing relational systems to handle millions of messages from Discord and Reddit.

• Partnering with product, design, customer success teams, and leadership.

• Establishing best practices, writing clear pull requests, and facilitating team efficiency.

• Delivering the next logical version and ensuring its practical application.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Extensive expertise in TypeScript and Node.js.

• PostgreSQL proficiency as a significant advantage.

• Demonstrated experience with customer-facing large language models (LLMs) at scale.

• Practical experience with production-level AI or LLM-driven systems.

• Experience in designing, fine-tuning, and evolving relational systems for large-scale applications.

• Staff-level independence in making technical decisions.

• Ability to think systemically across product, data, infrastructure, and team performance.
