Staff Developer, Front-End

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee cross-functional technical initiatives and evaluate architectures.

• Establish coding standards and enhance technical processes throughout the engineering team.

• Manage and prioritize several projects to ensure quality, stability, and timely delivery.

• Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to team members to uphold high standards.

• Work collaboratively with various teams to foster open communication regarding architecture and problem-solving.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SaaS application development.

• Strong collaboration skills with Staff for engineering decisions and product development.

• Prior experience in a Staff Developer position or higher.

• Proficient in full-stack development, with hands-on coding on a daily basis.

• Capability to design complex systems optimized for performance and scalability.

• Experience collaborating with Product teams and UX/UI Designers.

• Familiarity with software observability and AI tooling.

• Ability to excel in ambiguous situations and influence system-wide decisions.

• Exceptional delegation abilities and effectiveness in unblocking teams.

• Commitment to the iterative evolution of architecture.
