Staff Deep Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement essential deep-learning, computer vision, and (inverse-)procedural modeling algorithms using Python.

• Utilize advanced research in machine learning and computer graphics to address practical challenges.

• Collaborate closely with cofounders to convert customer needs into technical objectives.

• Deploy and evaluate code on extensive geospatial datasets, creating 3D content for clients.

• Utilize Git for source code management and break down implementation tasks into modular, executable components.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the industry.

• Demonstrated expertise as a Deep Learning Engineer or Applied Research Engineer in a dynamic setting.

• Proficiency in Python, Git, and the Unix shell.

• Solid experience in training and debugging artificial neural networks or similar technologies.

• A robust mathematical foundation that includes linear algebra, statistics, probability, and numerical methods.

• Preferred experience with modern C++ for interfacing with data ingestion and product pipelines.

• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with a founding team.
