Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Ads Foundational Representations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Creating new or refining existing embedding models tailored for advertising applications, which include aggregation pipelines, two-tower architectures, and sequence models.

• Collaborating with both local and third-party LLMs/VLMs: extracting representations, developing evaluation methodologies, and fine-tuning large models to produce cutting-edge embeddings.

• Constructing data processing and inference pipelines for the models we create.

• Conducting qualitative and quantitative assessments of the various features we develop, performing end-to-end experimentation from internal benchmarks to offline metrics for recommender systems and online experiments.

• Guaranteeing the reliability, scalability, and performance of ML systems by implementing automated testing, monitoring performance, and adhering to best practices for model management.

• Engaging in modeling and coding reviews: you will evaluate the work of team members and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to the team's quality and performance standards.

• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to comprehend business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience with the complete lifecycle of designing, training, evaluating, testing, and deploying industry-grade models.

• Proficiency in building NLP or CV models and scaling their integration.

• Experience in developing intricate features/embeddings for downstream models.

• Familiarity with mainstream deep learning frameworks: PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• A passion for working with data and a willingness to delve deeper into the numbers behind the metrics.
