Staff Data Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation and execution of enterprise data protection strategies.

• Ensure that data security measures are scalable, actionable, and aligned with requirements.

• Develop, implement, and fine-tune DLP policies using Microsoft Purview DLP.

• Set up and oversee labeling policies while integrating DLP functionalities.

• Monitor DLP incidents and facilitate the enhancement of policies.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to establish data handling standards.

• Deploy and manage DSPM tools to enhance visibility into incidents involving sensitive data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in arts or sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 6 years of experience in information security, with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to data security, DLP, or DSPM.

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Purview DLP.

• Strong expertise with the Microsoft Defender XDR suite.

• Proven experience with Microsoft Sentinel.

• Familiarity with the Varonis Data Security Platform.

• Understanding of DSPM concepts and tools.

• Comprehensive knowledge of data classification frameworks.
