Staff Data Scientist – Long Term Impact

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate causal estimates to assess the long-term effects of short-term metric fluctuations.

• Develop frameworks that analyze how the impact of product modifications changes over time.

• Design frameworks and tools to assess the varied impacts of product adjustments.

• Utilize and implement causal inference techniques, including experimental designs, econometric regressions, and quasi-experimental methods to evaluate a wide array of platform and product impacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics, or Physics.

• Demonstrated ability to create analytical solutions for complex real-world challenges.

• Knowledge of recent advancements in causal inference.

• 6+ years of relevant experience with a Ph.D. or 8+ years with a Master's in experimentation or causal inference fields.

• Proficient programming skills in R, Python, Scala, Java, C++, or similar languages.

• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Publications or presentations in esteemed Data Science journals or conferences are advantageous.
