Staff Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee the development of scalable data pipelines utilizing Airflow, dbt, and Python.

• Direct the architecture and ongoing evolution of the company's data platform.

• Create integrations across modern data stack tools such as Fivetran, Redshift, and Sigma.

• Develop serverless data services leveraging AWS offerings like Lambda.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish dependable data models and analytics datasets.

• Enhance pipeline reliability through effective testing, monitoring, and observability practices.

• Revamp legacy data processes and boost automation throughout the platform.

• Mentor engineers and analysts on best practices in data modeling and platform usage.

• Propel enhancements in data governance and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in constructing production data pipelines and analytics infrastructure.

• Proficient SQL skills with experience in modeling large datasets.

• Extensive Python experience for developing pipelines and automation solutions.

• Familiarity with Airflow, dbt, or other similar orchestration and transformation tools.

• Knowledge of modern data stack tools such as Fivetran, Redshift, or Sigma.

• Experience with AWS and serverless data processing technologies like Lambda.

• Strong comprehension of data warehouse architecture and analytics engineering.

• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across various teams.
