Staff Backend Engineer – Tech Lead Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Exemplify leadership through your actions.

• Establish high standards by dedicating a substantial amount of your time to individual contributor tasks: coding, reviewing code, leading projects, and engaging in on-call duties, incident resolution, and post-incident evaluations.

• Oversee a team of 4–8 mid-to-senior level engineers. Provide context, mentorship, and consistent feedback.

• Uphold the technical vision for your designated area.

• Work in partnership with the Product Manager and Service Owner to define the product vision and strategic plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in professional software engineering or management.

• Strong proficiency in Golang, or a willingness to swiftly adapt to this programming language.

• Proven experience with:

• Leading multi-month technical projects.

• Providing technical leadership to engineers.

• Managing long-term technical initiatives.
