This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead the implementation of AI throughout the organization by identifying and executing high-impact use cases that enhance developer productivity and operational efficiency.
• Incorporate AI tools into the software development lifecycle to facilitate quicker delivery, better code quality, and more streamlined workflows.
• Establish standards, guidelines, and best practices for the application of AI across teams to guarantee consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Provide insights into the product roadmap by leveraging a comprehensive understanding of emerging AI and agentic technologies, assisting the team in discovering new capabilities and product opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with teams to comprehend their workflows, collect requirements, and prioritize solutions that yield measurable value.
• Develop metrics and feedback mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of AI initiatives, including developer productivity and operational impact.
• Coach and mentor engineers on the effective utilization of AI tools and frameworks in their daily tasks.
• Contribute to fostering a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and responsible AI adoption throughout the organization.
• Solid background in software engineering, platform engineering, developer productivity, or related roles aimed at enhancing engineering workflows.
• Practical experience in designing and implementing AI-powered applications, automation workflows, or developer tools.
• Familiarity with working in an AI-first or AI-enabled environment.
• Experience integrating AI tools or functionalities into actual engineering processes or products.
• Strong system design and architectural thinking capabilities, with the ability to balance short-term experimentation against long-term scalability.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as TypeScript or Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, prioritize use cases, and evaluate the impact of technical initiatives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to influence teams and promote adoption across the organization.
• Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments where ambiguity and experimentation are integral to the process.
