Staff Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various teams to identify business requirements and suggest optimal data modeling strategies.

• Convert business ideas into measurable metrics (KPIs, OKRs, etc.).

• Design and structure data for analytical objectives while adhering to best practices, including ensuring data quality and maintaining documentation.

• Manage workflows associated with data pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in implementing, maintaining, and overseeing data pipelines.

• Proficient in advanced SQL.

• Background in analytical data modeling (star schema, snowflake, and Data Vault).

• Familiarity with architectural models for analytics (Data Mart, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mesh, etc.).

• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Metabase, Power BI, etc.).

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Ability to lead stakeholder alignment: grasping business requirements, suggesting solutions, and validating outputs.

• Experience in orchestrating workflows using Airflow, Luigi, Azkaban, dbt, or Dataform.

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or Go.
