This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of reconciliations and monthly activities for designated accounts, including prepaids, commissions, and rebate reserves.

• Prepare recurring journal entries along with month-end accruals.

• Manage distributor rebate programs and assess customer deductions and claims to ensure contract compliance.

• Act as a primary contact for intercompany transactions with trading partners.

• Collaborate with non-financial stakeholders to establish the appropriate accounting treatment for sales deductions and expenses.

• Assist with year-end audit requests by preparing schedules, documentation, and account support for designated areas.

• Gather information necessary for state and local sales tax filings on a monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual basis.

• Contribute to maintaining robust internal controls by adhering to and promoting company policies and procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or product-oriented environment.

• Strong grasp of accounting principles, reconciliations, accruals, and financial controls.

• Comfortable working with ERP and financial systems.

• Familiarity with OneStream and Infor is an advantage.

• Experience with systems such as XA, BaaN, Syteline, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Epicor, SAP, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of rebates, sales deductions, intercompany transactions, or sales tax support.

• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and a desire to enhance process efficiency.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work confidently across functions with non-finance partners.
