This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Maintain precise financial records for a portfolio of 20–30 commercial properties/entities.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile all property-level transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Track and reconcile NNN expenses, including CAM (Common Area Maintenance), property taxes, and insurance.
• Monitor tenant rent payments, lease escalations, late fees, and additional charges.
• Generate and issue monthly rent statements and invoices.
• Collaborate with property management to enforce rent collection policies and follow up on delinquencies.
• Review and process vendor invoices, utilities, and maintenance expenses according to budgets.
• Track and ensure compliance with tenant insurance requirements.
• Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Support financial audits and tax filings in coordination with external accountants.
• Utilize QuickBooks and Yardi Breeze to enhance accounting workflows.
• Maintain organized records of financial transactions, leases, and supporting documentation.
• Generate financial reports, variance analyses, and cash flow projections.
• Work closely with property managers, asset managers, and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with lease agreements and accounting best practices.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in commercial real estate accounting.
• Hands-on experience with Yardi Breeze is desirable.
• Strong experience with NNN / Triple Net lease structures, CAM reconciliations, property-level accounting, and multi-entity accounting environments.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Yardi Breeze, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and lease accounting standards.
• Experience with audits, tax filings, and compliance is preferred.
• Extremely detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple entities simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in a remote environment.
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable seeking clarification when needed.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and of high integrity.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to structured processes.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
