SSR QA Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Establishing the automated testing strategy for the project.

• Crafting and managing test cases for both new and existing features.

• Developing automated tests for Java Spring Boot services, REST APIs, integrations, and Camunda workflows.

• Evaluating BPMN processes, DMN rules, process variables, service tasks, error handling, retries, timers, and external integrations.

• Constructing and upholding automated regression test suites.

• Incorporating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Collaborating with developers to enhance testability, code quality, and defect prevention.

• Analyzing requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, BPMN diagrams, and technical designs to identify testing scenarios.

• Overseeing test data, mocks, stubs, and test environments.

• Documenting, tracking, and assisting in the resolution of defects.

• Advocating for effective testing practices within the development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid foundation in test automation (3+ years).

• Proven experience in testing Java Spring Boot applications.

• Familiarity with Camunda BPMN.

• Proficient knowledge of REST API testing.

• Practical experience with tools like JUnit, Mockito, AssertJ, REST Assured, Cucumber, Karate, Postman/Newman, or similar.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

• Understanding of SQL databases and preparation of test data.

• Experience with mocks, stubs, service virtualization, or contract testing.

• Insight into microservices, backend integrations, and event-driven architectures.

• Capability to define functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.

• Good comprehension of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• English proficiency: B2 CEFR.
