This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Implement and refine business rules in accordance with functional requirements and the established architecture of the solution.

• Design and enhance backend applications utilizing Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.

• Create solutions employing Apache Kafka for event-driven communication.

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, highly available microservices.

• Execute both synchronous and asynchronous integrations between systems.

• Connect applications with various systems and data sources.

• Handle incoming events and data, ensuring integrity and consistency.

• Develop, expose, and advance REST APIs for use by the platform's diverse channels.

• Contribute to building and enhancing solutions for customer service channels.

• Assist in the advancement of the microservices architecture and event-driven communication.

• Strong background in backend development with Java.

• Practical experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka, including producing and consuming events, service integration, and event-driven architectures.

• Understanding of microservices architecture utilizing Spring Boot and Kafka.

• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.

• Knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, SOLID principles, and best development practices.

• Experience with system integration, data processing, and asynchronous communication across applications.

• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.

• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance strategies.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery).

• Experience in log analysis, troubleshooting, and application support.

• Knowledge of application security, observability, performance, scalability, and resilience practices.

• Ability to analyze requirements and propose technical solutions that align with business needs.

• Experience with cloud environments and cloud-based applications.
