This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform thorough evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
• Create personalized therapy plans and objectives based on evaluation outcomes and individual student requirements.
• Deliver direct therapy services to PreK-12 students focusing on articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
• Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and educational team members to enhance students' communication objectives.
• Utilize evidence-based methods and therapeutic activities during therapy sessions.
• Track students' progress and modify therapy plans as necessary.
• Accurately and promptly document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other pertinent information.
• Engage in IEP meetings and contribute insights regarding students' speech and language requirements.
• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current ASHA certification is mandatory.
• A strong desire to work with K-12 students in a virtual environment.
• Experience in delivering speech-language therapy services in educational or pediatric settings.
• Proficiency in pediatric speech-language pathology assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and school personnel.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with teletherapy is preferred.
• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technologies is advantageous.
• Capable of effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, and lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
