This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills.

• Create personalized therapy plans and objectives tailored to assessment findings and individual student needs.

• Deliver direct therapy services to students, focusing on areas such as articulation, phonology, language understanding, fluency, and social communication skills.

• Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and other educational team members to enhance students' communication objectives within the classroom and other educational environments.

• Utilize evidence-based strategies and therapeutic activities during therapy sessions to foster speech and language growth.

• Track students' progress and modify therapy plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.

• Accurately document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other pertinent information in a timely manner.

• Engage in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute insights regarding students' speech and language requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized program.

• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

• Current ASHA certification is mandatory.

• Enthusiastic about working with K-12 students in a virtual environment.

• Experience in providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric context.

• Proficient in assessment instruments and therapeutic methods commonly employed in pediatric speech-language pathology.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience in teletherapy is preferred.

• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technologies utilized in speech-language therapy is preferred.
