Speech Language Pathologist, Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills.

• Create personalized therapy plans and objectives based on evaluation outcomes and the needs of students.

• Deliver direct therapy services to students, focusing on areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.

• Work alongside teachers, parents, and other educational team members to enhance students' communication goals within classroom and educational environments.

• Utilize evidence-based methods and therapeutic activities during sessions to foster speech and language development.

• Track students' progress and modify therapy plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.

• Accurately document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other pertinent information in a timely manner.

• Attend IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and offer insights regarding students' speech and language requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

• Current ASHA certification is mandatory.

• Enthusiastic about working with K-12 students in a virtual setting.

• Experience in delivering speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric context.

• Proficient in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques typically employed in pediatric speech-language pathology.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a capacity to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with teletherapy is preferred.

• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technologies used in speech-language therapy is preferred.
