This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional virtual speech-language therapy services to K-12 students in various states.

• Perform both standardized and non-standardized assessments and evaluate the findings.

• Compose reports that address motor speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, literacy, and dysphagia.

• Create strength-based, child- and family-centered treatment strategies.

• Ensure that IEP, evaluation, and progress-monitoring procedures adhere to district, state, and federal regulations.

• Gather daily data and modify treatment based on trends in student performance.

• Attend IEP and evaluation meetings, providing timely documentation.

• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and other members of the students’ educational teams.

• Align treatment goals with Common Core Standards.

• Develop, implement, and communicate daily schedules to building leaders and department supervisors.

• Participate in staff meetings and engage in professional development related to state-board licensure and the needs of students or caseloads.

• Support student communication across all modes and levels of language.

• Take part in building-based intervention processes that aid students and teachers.

• Utilize district software for special education compliance and accountability reporting.


⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Ohio Speech Language Pathologist license is mandatory.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google applications, email, and internet tools.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Extensive content knowledge in one or more academic subjects.

• Genuine concern for children and a passion for education.

• Capability to collect, analyze, and interpret student data for educational decision-making.

• Adaptability in decision-making, daily challenges, and job responsibilities.

• Strong sense of integrity.

• A collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• Ability to thrive in a diverse educational community setting.

• Awareness of community and student demographic factors.

• Familiarity with state proficiency testing and educational standards.

• Successful completion of state-mandated criminal history checks and health assessments.

• Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds.
