This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Identify and engage candidates across all levels, including trainees, board-eligible associates, and diplomates, through proactive sourcing, networking, and targeted outreach.
• Develop and sustain candidate pipelines, meticulously tracking outreach efforts, follow-ups, and candidate statuses within the applicant tracking system.
• Assist in strengthening connections with veterinary schools, residency programs, and professional organizations.
• Conduct preliminary screening calls and facilitate the scheduling of interviews with hiring managers.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Specialty Veterinary Recruiter to gain insight into open positions, hiring priorities, and business goals across AOSN clinics.
• Aid Human Resources and Marketing in enhancing employer branding, candidate experience, and onboarding processes.
• Monitor pipeline activities and provide consistent updates on sourcing progress and results.
• Maintain precise recruitment data to support KPI reporting and process enhancements.
• Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to relevant local, state, provincial, and federal regulations.
• Stay informed about recruitment best practices and present recommendations to the Sr. Specialty Veterinary Recruiter.
• Perform additional related tasks and special projects as assigned.
• 2–3 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or sourcing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent experience in recruitment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
• A results-driven mindset with the capacity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Preferably, experience in recruiting within healthcare services; experience in animal health is highly desirable.
• Candidates with backgrounds in other complex, multi-site, or service-industry settings are also encouraged to apply.
• Preference will be given to those currently residing in or willing to relocate to Irvine, California.
