This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Implement AbbVie's immunology brand strategy and tactics in the field.
• Oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts within the Cincinnati Metro and Portsmouth areas.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Develop pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and carry out post-call assessments.
• Address objections and drive calls to action during sales interactions.
• Meet customer needs and cultivate trustworthy relationships with clients.
• Design and execute call plans to optimize customer coverage and frequency.
• Compile and disseminate market intelligence regarding customers, competitors, disease states, products, and clinical data.
• Distinguish AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare professionals.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Collaborate with in-field teams, brand teams, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and stakeholders involved in brand planning.
• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field is preferred.
• A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• Preferably, three or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry within the equivalent-experience pathway.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A proven history of success in sales is essential.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Capacity to adapt the selling approach to align with customer styles and behaviors.
• Ability to devise innovative solutions and maximize business prospects.
• Experience in leadership and peer coaching.
• Documented achievements in leadership or support positions with increased responsibilities.
• Understanding of sales outcomes and strategy formulation.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements to maintain eligibility for facility access.
• Capability to pass background checks, drug screenings, immunization/vaccination verification, fingerprinting, and any necessary state or city licenses as required.
• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Strong business acumen and familiarity with business tools.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
• A valid driver's license.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle or company car/truck.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
