This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Implement AbbVie's immunology brand strategy and initiatives in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Oversee the designated territory and target accounts.
• Develop pre-call strategies using SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections and encourage calls to action to secure sales.
• Establish trusted relationships with customers and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Formulate and carry out call plans to enhance customer engagement and sales potential.
• Acquire knowledge of customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales.
• Communicate market insights with in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Highlight AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Collaborate with district colleagues, matrix teams, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand stakeholders.
• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related discipline is preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
• A minimum of five years of pertinent industry experience is required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Three or more years of experience within the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors is preferred.
• A high school diploma/GED is required.
• A proven history of sales achievements.
• Strong presentation capabilities.
• Ability to adjust the selling approach based on customer style and behavior.
• Capacity to create innovative solutions and maximize business opportunities.
• Proficiency in influencing others and serving as a credible peer resource.
• Skills in collaborative partnerships within district and matrix teams.
• Documented success in leadership and support at district, regional, or organizational levels.
• Understanding of findings to shape sales strategies.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must meet the applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Demonstrated knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency with business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.
• Capacity to drive a personal auto, company vehicle, or powered material-handling equipment.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must fulfill safe driving requirements.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
