This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Implement immunology brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts to enhance both short- and long-term sales performance.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
• Develop pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and perform post-call evaluations.
• Address objections, concerns, and misconceptions while ensuring actionable outcomes during sales calls.
• Fulfill customer needs and cultivate trusted relationships, leading to mutually beneficial agreements.
• Create and execute call plans to enhance customer coverage and frequency.
• Acquire knowledge regarding customer needs, territory dynamics, competition, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales strategies.
• Provide market intelligence to in-field teams, brand management, and sales leadership.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, in-field team members, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and other brand stakeholders.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
• If a bachelor's degree is not held: a minimum of five (5) years of relevant and equivalent industry experience, including three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sector is preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A proven history of sales success along with strong presentation skills.
• Capability to adjust selling techniques according to customer styles and behaviors.
• Ability to create innovative solutions and maximize business opportunities.
• Proficiency in influencing others and serving as a credible peer resource and role model.
• Strong collaborative skills with district colleagues and matrix teams.
• Documented leadership and support success at district, regional, or organizational levels.
• Ability to interpret findings to formulate sales strategies.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.
• Demonstrated comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Strong business acumen and adeptness with business tools.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe-driving standards.
