This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics effectively in the field.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance sales performance.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Develop pre-call strategies using SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections and secure calls to action during sales interactions.
• Fulfill customer needs and establish reliable customer relationships.
• Formulate and execute call plans to maximize coverage, frequency, access, and sales potential.
• Acquire knowledge of customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales strategies.
• Communicate market insights with field, brand, and sales teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, field teams, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand stakeholders.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related discipline is preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
• A minimum of five years of experience is required in place of a bachelor’s degree, with at least three years preferred within the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors.
• A high school diploma/GED is mandatory.
• Proven track record in sales and exceptional presentation skills.
• Capability to adjust selling techniques to align with customer styles and behaviors.
• Ability to devise innovative solutions and adapt to organizational shifts.
• Experience in leadership and peer coaching within district, regional, or organizational roles.
• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be eligible for the necessary credentials.
• Must exhibit knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business insight and proficiency with business tools.
• Ability to think strategically and critically.
• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and adhere to safe driving standards.
• Capability to operate a personal or company vehicle is necessary.
