This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Prepare pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections and secure calls to action to finalize sales discussions.
• Fulfill customer needs and cultivate trustworthy relationships with clients.
• Design and execute call plans to maximize coverage and frequency with key clients.
• Enhance understanding of customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales expertise.
• Relay market intelligence to field teams, brand management, and sales management.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and sustain disease-state experts and advocates/speakers.
• Collaborate with specialty physicians, pharmacists, nurses, field teams, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and stakeholders in brand planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of five years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, including at least three years preferred in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors.
• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Demonstrated history of sales achievement.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Capacity to adjust selling techniques based on customer style and behavior.
• Commercial pharmaceutical experience is preferred, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing standards and be eligible to acquire necessary credentials.
• Knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes.
• Strong business acumen and competence with business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe-driving criteria.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
